New Chapters, Same Mission: Creating Clarity Through Content

Published: 8/5/2025

It’s been a season of change—and opportunity.

Over the past few months, I’ve been deep in the work of building something new, both personally and professionally. If you’ve followed along on this blog or connected with me on LinkedIn, you might already know that I’ve stepped into a new chapter as a Digital & Content Strategy Consultant—a contract role where I get to apply my experience in taxonomy, structured content, and scalable content delivery in a whole new context.

At the same time, I’ve been planting seeds for something new: launching my own business. Becoming my own boss wasn’t part of the original plan—but sometimes the best paths are the ones you don’t see coming.

Together with my wife Catherine, I’ve co-founded BaileyHill Agency, a boutique digital firm focused on helping small businesses, consumer brands, and startups thrive in the age of AI. Our sweet spot is in blending thoughtful content strategy, and brand design with practical automation—making it easier for teams to get organized, show up online, and stay future-ready.

Whether it’s improving local SEO for small-town businesses selling big-ticket goods, automating client data workflows, developing structured schemas for AI discovery, or auditing content systems for agentic readiness—what ties it all together is one mission: empowering others bring structure to their ideas so they can focus on what matters.

A few things I’m especially proud of right now:

  • Supporting a major B2B and B2C tech company as a digital & content strategy consultant, with a focus on scalable, modular content systems
  • Building and testing productized AI tools to assess and improve website agentic readiness
  • Getting BaileyHill Agency's first few client wins through pure word of mouth

It’s been a whirlwind. And I’m incredibly thankful for everyone who’s encouraged me to keep building—even when the path wasn’t entirely clear.

Stay tuned for more behind-the-scenes posts about tools I’m building, content experiments I’m running, and lessons learned from growing a business from scratch.
